This small group trip (4-7 participants per group) combines the most famous trekking destinations in Norway; Pulpit Rock, Trolltunga and the Kjerag. In addition, go hiking on one of Norway's biggest glaciers, as well as the longest wooden stairway in the world. Pre and post nights in Oslo also included.

Day 1: Arrival in Oslo
Upon arrival in Oslo, take the airport bus into downtown Oslo and walk to your hotel. Relax and spend the afternoon and evening in this exciting capital city!

Day 2: From Oslo to the mountains
Meet your group outside the Oslo Opera house at 12:00 pm. Together, go for a four hour drive towards the mountains. Get a glimpse of Norway's many rural areas as you drive further away from Oslo. Your destination for the day is a mountain cabin located around 1000 meters above sea level called Haukeliseter. Surrounded by its rough and wild nature, Haukelister is highly approved by Norwegians in every age visiting the mountains. Enjoy a traditional three course dinner and go through the program for the following days with your guide.

Day 3: Trolltunga
People come from all over the world to experience Trolltunga, and today it's YOUR turn! The trol'ls tongue as it would be named in English, is a spectacular mountain formation situated 1,100 meters above sea level, and 700 meters above the lake of Ringedal. This is a long trek (8-10 hours), but it's both doable and worth it! Have time to relax at the top, enjoy the view, and take unforgettable photos on the plateau. Spend the night at a local hotel by the romantic fjords of Hardanger. This particular place inspired many Norwegian artists during the Romantic Era, and led to some of the most remarkable artwork ever to come out of Norway. In case of bad weather, your group will have the opportunity to swap day 3 and 4, and try for the best weather possible on Trolltunga.

Day 4: Folgefonna glacier walk
Today, make your way up to Folgefonna, and go for a full day walk (4-6 hours) on the glacier. Folgefonna is Norway's third biggest glacier, and is situated in Folgefonna National Park. Trekking on the glacier plateau is not particularly hard, but, it is a truly magnificent experience walking roped up on the 350m thick carpet of ice! When the weather allows, it is a spectacular view of the surrounding fjord landscape from the glacier. During this day, walk at a gentle pace, and take time to enjoy our company, and beautiful scenery.

Day 5: Pulpit Rock
Today, head towards Preikestolen! From the hotel, drive through the beautiful coastal-scenery between Folgefonna and Preikestolen. Tonight, rest and relax in the spectacular Preikestolen Mountain Lodge. The new lodge opened in 2008 has won several prizes for its unique architecture. During the day, there are often a lot of people visiting the plateau. Therefore your group will hike it in the evening. Here you can enjoy the sunshine and a meal after most tourists have left this popular destination. The trek to Preikestolen is a four hour round trip. After dinner it is early to bed, for an early start tomorrow morning.

Day 6: Florli, fjord hamlet
Leave the lodge before breakfast to catch the first morning ferry. Surrounded by the mystical landscape on the wild and beautiful Lysefjord, enjoy a packed breakfast along the way. From the ferry you will be able to see Preikestolen from a completely different view than last night. Within two hours, arrive in Florli. This is a road-less hamlet by the fjord, surrounded by mountains rising over 1,000 meters into the sky. From Florli your group will hike up the longest wooden stairway in the world – 4444 steps right up from the fjord to the mountain. Going down you will follow a nice path (total trek is around 5 hours) and stay in a simple but cozy guesthouse by the fjord. Enjoy a farewell-dinner this evening with your group, while your hosts prepare a bonfire and a hot tub heated by a wool fire on the old ferry quay!

Day 7: Lysebotn and Mt. Kjerag
Another well-known trekking destination is on today's program. Start by taking a morning ferry to Lysebotn – the innermost part of Lysefjorden. From here, head for Mount Kjerag. It is situated 1,000 meters above the Lysefjord and the round trip itself takes around 6 hours. Have your camera ready in case you or any of the members of your group are brave enough to stand on the Kjeragbolt – no one will believe you otherwise! At this time of year it might also be a good chance to meet the base jumpers who jump out of the 1000 meters cliff! After the trek, return to Oslo (6-7 hours drive). During the ride, sum up all the experiences that you have had together. as a group. Arrival in Oslo in the evening.

Day 8: Depart Oslo
Airport bus back to Oslo Gardermoen for your flight(s) home.
